Getting to Eldoret

County Council of Wareng is about 360km to the South West of Kenya’s capital Nairobi. Eldoret Town is its capital, administrative center and commercial center.It covers Uasin Gishu District which is located in North Rift in Rift Valley Province of Kenya.

Transport

The road and communications network is fairly established in Wareng. The Great - North road serving Uganda, Rwanda, Burudi, Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo pass through the County Council of Wareng, including the main railway line connecting Mombasa to Kitale.
