Engineering & Urban Planning Department

Building and Works Engineer is the Technical adviser to the Council and is the Head of the Engineer’s department comprising of the following sections:

• Roads Section responsible for maintenance of roads and storm water drainages within the council
• Building and Planning Section planning and approval of development plans and ensuring compliance of building development as per approved development plans plan
• Mechanical Workshop Section with the responsibility of maintenance of fleet of Council vehicles.
• Transport Section with responsibility of organizing re-distribution of vehicles to various departments in liaison with head of department and also organizing for transport as and when need arises.
