Matunda

MatundaMatunda is a trading centre right on the highway from Eldoret to Kitale. The surrounding terrain is predominantly maize agriculture. In fact, Matunda on the east side of the highway resorts to the jurisdiction of Trans Nzoia; the west side resorts under the County Council of Wareng. Despite this administrative challenge, the County Council of Wareng is successful in maintaining order and sanitation in the busy public trading areas.
