Public Health Department

The department operates basically under the Public Health Act Cap 242, Local Government Act Cap 265. It formulates and implements Health and Sanitary policies, provides preventive and rehabilitative services, provides overall sanitation services and prevention of sanitary nuisances, health inspection and other public health services including food safety.
